The movie starts with Aisha’s (Zaira) voice-over as she tells everyone that she is dead and then moves on to narrate the whole story. There are many emotional moments in the movie but that doesn't mean it is not going to make you smile. The casting of the film is on-point. Our desi girl, who has returned to Bollywood after three years, is amazing. Priyanka plays Aisha's mother with confidence. She beautifully carries the film on her shoulders.

Farhan slips perfectly into his character. Despite playing a serious role, in some of the scenes, you'll be able to witness Imran from Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. Both actors share beautiful chemistry. Coming to Zaira, the young girl who quit the industry. Well, she gives no reason to complain in the film. She does justice to her character and for a moment, you will think that it is definitely a loss to Bollywood.

Director Shonali Bose along with Juhi Chaturvedi and Nilesh Maniyar has penned down a beautiful story without any melodrama.  The film does have some weak points like the story focused more on Moose and Panda's love story rather than Aisha's illness but this can be avoided.

With amazing performances and beautiful music playing in the background, The Sky Is Pink is indeed a throat-lumping watch.
